Among this year’s prominent participants is French artist Jean-Brioc Chevalier, who presented his remarkable exhibition “Illuminations on Wood”, showcasing traditional craftsmanship through a contemporary artistic lens. Chevalier presents meticulously handcrafted works, including foldable screens and curtains, which earned him the “Exceptional Talent in Handicrafts” award for 2025, recommended by a committee chaired by Laurence de Car, director of the Louvre Museum.
