Remarkable Public Turnout and Lively Children’s Engagement on the Fourth Day of Sharjah Heritage Days

The “Our Children and Heritage” pavilion witnessed a large public turnout on the fourth day of Sharjah Heritage Days in its 23rd edition, as children actively engaged with live performances and storytelling workshops. A large number also took part in drawing and coloring workshops aimed at instilling heritage values and fostering creativity among young generations.

Cultural Diversity and Culinary Experiences
The Sharjah Government Pavilion also recorded a notable presence, with visitors flocking to the various commercial outlets and sampling traditional foods from the participating countries, reflecting the richness and diversity of the cultural landscape.

Artistic Performances in Open Squares
Folk art troupes from different countries presented Arab and international heritage dance performances in the open squares, drawing wide audience interaction and contributing to a lively, festive atmosphere.

Maritime Heritage in the Spotlight
The Maritime Heritage Pavilion attracted strong interest from visitors keen on fishing and sea-related crafts, offering insights into traditional practices associated with the sea as an integral part of Emirati heritage.

Heritage Seminars and Publications
The accompanying scientific seminars enjoyed broad public attendance, alongside the signing of several publications by the Sharjah Institute for Heritage as part of the “Dallouni Ala Al-Aswaq” forum, which highlights the heritage of cities and traditional markets.

Traditional Crafts and Live Experiences
Audiences also interacted with a range of traditional crafts, including agriculture using old methods and the preparation of Arabic coffee in its traditional styles, in addition to learning about vintage wedding tools.
