Sharjah Heritage Days, in its 23rd edition, continues to radiate cultural brilliance in the heart of Sharjah, presenting a rich tableau of Emirati, Arab, and international folk heritage that brings together arts, customs, and traditions in a vibrant and lively atmosphere.

Participation of 27 Countries and Diverse Performances

The events witness the participation of 27 countries, including Portugal as the Guest of Honour, alongside China, Syria, Egypt, the Gulf countries, Lithuania, and Russia. Folk heritage displays and traditional dances are staged across theatres, public squares, and the fort, amid strong audience engagement.

Emirati Environments and Ancestral Crafts

The Emirati maritime, agricultural, mountain, and desert environments come to life through vivid scenes featuring folk chants, children’s games, camel displays, and traditional women’s crafts such as Al-Sadu, Al-Talli, and palm frond weaving (Khoos), reflecting the deep connection between place and people.
