“Ms. Aisha Ghabish, Director of Events and Activities at the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, affirmed that the Institute continues its efforts to deliver a wide range of programs, activities, and events targeting various segments of society, with a particular focus on the family as a fundamental pillar in building a cohesive community.

“Our Families Are Productive” in Line with the Year of the Family 2026

Ghabish explained that the “Our Families Are Productive” initiative was launched in alignment with the “Year of the Family 2026,” and witnessed the participation of more than 13 Emirati families who showcased a distinctive selection of handicrafts and traditional products, alongside creative works reflecting the skills, innovation, and productivity of family members.

Motivating Families and Supporting Sustainable Contribution

She added that the title of the initiative was chosen to motivate families and encourage them to continue producing and actively contributing to society, while also reinforcing their role in achieving both economic and social stability within the family unit.

Inspiring Models from Participants

The event featured notable participation from several families. One participant expressed his appreciation to the Sharjah Institute for Heritage for providing the opportunity to take part, noting that he presented products in the field of perfumes. His daughter, Maha, also participated with her cosmetics brand “Villa Maha,” in an experience that reflects the spirit of initiative and family collaboration.

For her part, Maha expressed her gratitude to her family, praising the support of her parents. She also extended her thanks to the Sharjah Institute for Heritage for supporting young talents and providing a platform to showcase their creativity, thereby strengthening the presence of national talents across various fields.
