Dr. Al Musallam: Zayed’s Humanitarian Legacy Established a Culture of Giving and a Civilized Approach Passed Down Through Generations

Dr. Abdulaziz Al Musallam, Chairman of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, affirmed that Zayed Humanitarian Day represents a national occasion on which the country recalls the great humanitarian legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may he rest in peace, who established humanitarian work as a way of life and a civilized practice passed down through generations.
His Excellency stated that Sheikh Zayed founded a unique school of generosity and giving whose impact extended to many parts of the world, making the United Arab Emirates a global model in supporting humanitarian, relief, and development efforts. He added that Sheikh Zayed’s humanitarian vision contributed to the implementation of major development projects in many countries, particularly in remote areas, touching the lives of millions around the world.
Dr. Al Musallam also stressed that the Sharjah Institute for Heritage draws inspiration from these values through its cultural and community programs and initiatives, by promoting a culture of solidarity within societal awareness and strengthening the presence of heritage as a carrier of authentic human values, thereby helping pass this moral and civilizational legacy on to future generations
