Sharjah Institute for Heritage Releases a New Issue of "Al-Muruth"
The Sharjah Institute for Heritage has released Issue No. 39 of Al-Muruth (The Heritage), the peer-reviewed scientific journal specializing in folk culture and anthropological studies. The quarterly journal is published by the Institute's Academic Administration.
This issue, covering the period from July to September, includes a collection of research papers and studies on a variety of topics related to intangible cultural heritage, anthropology, traditional crafts, customs and rituals, folk costumes, and performing arts.
A distinguished group of academics and researchers from within the UAE and abroad contributed to the research featured in this edition, reflecting the journal’s international character and its openness to diverse academic schools of thought.
The publication of Al-Muruth comes as part of the Institute’s efforts to promote scientific research in folk culture and to enrich both Arab and global libraries with peer-reviewed studies that contribute to the preservation, documentation, and transmission of heritage to future generations.
