The Sharjah Institute for Heritage has launched the activities of the "Sharjah Maqeez" summer camp in the city of Dibba Al-Hisn. Running from 27 July to 6 August, the camp offers a comprehensive summer program featuring a rich mix of heritage, cultural, and recreational activities. It aims to make the most of students' summer vacation by strengthening their connection to national identity while enhancing their knowledge and skills in an interactive learning environment that combines education with enjoyment.

Integrated Heritage Programs

The Sharjah Institute for Heritage – Dibba Al-Hisn Branch is presenting a diverse program that includes sports and physical activities, workshops on traditional Emirati crafts, awareness lectures on Al Sanaa (Emirati etiquette) and the customs of majlis gatherings, in addition to traditional games workshops, artistic and creative activities, and cultural and reading programs. The camp also delivers several activities in collaboration with local organizations, reinforcing community partnerships and providing participants with a rewarding summer experience that develops their abilities while introducing them to the richness of the UAE's cultural heritage.

Strengthening National Identity

The camp is organized as part of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage's ongoing efforts to offer high-quality programs that make productive use of the summer holiday by nurturing young people, safeguarding the UAE's cultural heritage, and passing its traditions on to future generations through modern, interactive approaches. These initiatives foster a sense of belonging and pride in national identity while providing children with an inspiring educational experience in a safe and creativity-driven environment.
