With the Start of the Summer Vacation, Sharjah Heritage Institute Launches “Muqayez Al Sharjah” Summer Camp Activities
The Sharjah Institute for Heritage launched, on Monday, the activities of its summer camp, “Muqayez Al Sharjah 2026,” which is being held at the Institute’s headquarters in University City and will continue until July 2. The camp targets children through a cultural and recreational program designed to strengthen their connection to Emirati heritage and reinforce the values of national identity.
Young Generations Between Heritage Knowledge and Identity
Held this year under the slogan “Your Heritage, Your Identity,” the camp reflects the Institute’s vision of introducing younger generations to their cultural legacy and instilling a strong sense of national identity. Through a diverse program, children embark on a journey through the treasures of folk tales and the rich elements of Emirati heritage, discovering its stories, traditions, and cultural values through interactive approaches that combine learning and enjoyment.
Diverse Activities and Workshops
The camp program features a variety of cultural, heritage, artistic, and interactive workshops and activities tailored to children’s interests and learning needs. It also includes events that help develop their creative skills and encourage teamwork and participation within an engaging educational and recreational environment, offering a rich experience that blends learning with exploration.
Making the Most of the Summer Break
The organization of “Muqayez Al Sharjah 2026” is part of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage’s efforts to make productive use of the summer vacation through high-quality programs that combine education and entertainment. The camp introduces children to Emirati cultural heritage in a contemporary and engaging manner, helping to strengthen their connection to their national identity and raise awareness of the importance of cultural heritage as an integral part of society’s collective memory and inherited values.
