His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, inaugurated the Traditional Crafts Museum on Sunday October 18, 2020, in the city of Khorfakkan. Constituting a cultural and heritage value, the Museum contains a wide variety of disappeared traditional crafts from all environments of the emirates. The traditional crafts introduced by the Museum are 23 crafts along with Bait Al Tawash and Biat Al Souq.

The museum features the living section, the kitchen section, the women’s adornment section, and a diversified section of collectibles. The Museum contains other items, such as her grandfather’s gun, a 150-year-old bed, coffee pots, the bride’s gift, old clothes among them are her mother's clothes, her father's Bisht (cloak), musical instruments, fragrances, a large collection of kitchen utensils, photos of her family, and official documents

Captain Badr Saleh named his museum as "B.S", referring to his initials. It contains valuable photos of him with Their Highness Rulers and Sheikhs of the UAE. In addition, the museum contains the cups he won as a player and as a coach, certificates from the FIFA, the Asian Football Confederation and the UAE Football Association. It also contains the medals he was honored at all levels, and the gifts he received from many clubs and Arab and Asian federations.

The museum includes a 131-year old “Mus’haf” brought from Syria, the personal belongings of his mother and mother-in-law, such as iron and pottery incense burners, baby cots, and household appliances such as radios and sewing machines. In addition, it contains farming tools such as a plow and “Meniour” (a tool for elevating bucket from well), and kitchen utensils such as a “Zamzamya” (water bottle) and a “Karraz” (a pot for ghee).

The Museum contains collectibles of traditional costumes and adornments, and fragrances. In addition, it contains kitchen utensils such as a gas stove, a charcoal pot, and a copper tray, along with house appliances such as an ironer, a sewing machine, a radio set, a TV set, and other various items. 

The Museum contains items of marine value, such as a shark jaw, a 100-year-old sawfish saw, fishing kit, pieces of commercial value, such as authentic official documents, including a ship registration certificate, an official contract for the sale of lands and homes, and a house map. It also contains swords and daggers, and personal devices, such as a video camera with its accessories, and some hospitality utensil.

The Museum contains old paintings such as the “Qalqily Island” painting, the “Castle of Birds” painting, traditional toys such as a bicycle wheel and Nashaba, and kitchen tools such as a mortar, a pottery pot for cooking, and a molasses scoop. In addition, it contains maritime items such as “Allenj” (sailing boat), fishing kit, a model of a ship, along with farming tools like a plow and the mower. It further contains “Ledyet Al Humaar” (a piece placed on the back of the donkey to sit on), and “Mata’am Al Baqar” (a pottery vessel in which the food of cows and bulls is placed).

The museum contains household items such as a 100-year-old “Kharss”, old documents such as a passport that dates back to 1955, and other items such as doors and windows, old pictures of the Rolla tree. It further contains rare kitchenware such as the Al Asadd bowl. Among the rare items are a reading book that dates back to 1966, fishing kit (gargoor) and (pumpkin), old coins, old documents, and “Zahbet Al Aroos” (bride’s gift).
